I photograph weddings across the UK, France and beyond, capturing beautiful celebrations and the people, personalities and moments that make them unforgettable. With nearly two decades behind the camera and weddings at the heart of my work since 2012, I bring a wealth of experience, a thoughtful eye and a genuinely personal approach to every celebration. For me, exceptional wedding photography is about so much more than beautiful images. It's about the experience, the connections and creating something you'll treasure for a lifetime.
Before becoming a full-time photographer, I worked as both a teacher and a sports events organiser. An unusual combination, perhaps, but one that's proved surprisingly useful at weddings! Those years taught me to think on my feet, stay organised and keep a cool head when things don't quite go to plan. Whether I'm gathering everyone for family photographs, quietly helping the day run smoothly or knowing exactly when to step back and let the magic happen, I want you to feel completely at ease, knowing everything is in safe hands.
One of my favourite things about photography is the relationships that grow from it. I've been lucky enough to photograph couples on their wedding days and then welcome them back years later, sometimes with a baby, sometimes with a whole family in tow! Being trusted to capture these different chapters of people's lives is an enormous privilege, and something I'll never take for granted.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me outdoors, exploring somewhere new, enjoying a really good coffee or having adventures with my two children. I love travelling, being active and discovering places a little off the beaten track. During the quieter wedding months, I also lead educational service trips overseas for teenagers, bringing together my love of travel, adventure and working with young people. Life is rarely dull, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I take on a limited number of weddings each year, quite deliberately. I believe every couple deserves more than simply having a photographer turn up on the day. From our first conversation to the delivery of your finished photographs, I want you to feel looked after, listened to and genuinely excited about the experience. It means I can give each wedding the time, care and creative attention it deserves, without ever rushing from one celebration to the next.
My style is a blend of natural documentary photography and beautifully considered portraits. I love the spontaneous, unscripted moments just as much as the elegance of a carefully composed image. I work unobtrusively, with gentle direction when it's needed and a light touch when it isn't. The result is a collection of photographs that feels effortless, authentic and unmistakably yours, from the smallest details to the biggest emotions.
Couples often tell me that one of the things they remember most is how relaxed they felt having me around. That's one of the loveliest compliments I could receive. I want you to laugh, celebrate, embrace the unexpected and enjoy every moment with the people you love, without ever feeling that your wedding has become a photoshoot.
